ASME Mate is a Windows utility to aid engineers in
completing pressure vessel calculations to the ASME pressure vessel codes.
The programme is capable of the following:
Converting pressure values in Bar and Psi
Converting temperature values in °C
and °F
Converting stress values in Ksi and N/mm2
Interpolating stress value from material tables.
To convert values simply enter the known value into the corresponding input
box and the converted value will be displayed.
To use the interpolation function the upper and lower temperature stress
levels must be entered along with the design temperature. Press the calculate
button and the stress value for the design temperature will be displayed.
The interpolation function of this utility is not limited to use with the
values given in ASME II section D; it can also be used to determine intermediate
values for pressure temperature ratings of flanges or determining any
intermediate value from a data set that can be linearly interpolated.
